This very unusual square butter print with the head of a cow, was found in Nova Scotia. I have never seen one just like it.

The case is of dovetailed construction with each dovetail pinned by a brass rivet. The handle has a small wooden peg to hold the print in place. The pattern of the print is the head of a cow surrounded by a scroll pattern  and the letter 'M'.

Approximate Dimensions: 3 1/2" square, height 6 -7 1/2"fully extended.

Condition: As found. Wear as appropriate for age and use. See photos. No damage.
